A Florida man who appeared on America’s Most Wished has been caught after four decades on the run for a 1984 murder he is accused of committing.
Donald Santini, 65, evaded seize for almost 40 years till he was arrested earlier this month in San Diego, California.
He is charged with first-degree murder over the loss of life of 33-year-old Cynthia Ruth Wooden, who lived in Bradenton, Florida, reported WFLA.
Wooden, who was going by way of a divorce, was final seen leaving her home with Mr Santini on the evening of 5 June 1984.
A girl advised investigators that the suspect allegedly confessed that he had strangled Wooden and dumped her physique in a canal, in accordance with an arrest warrant.
Detectives recognized Mr Santini as the suspect, however he fled by the time an arrest warrant was issued.
He was hunted throughout the nation and the world and his case was featured on America’s Most Wished a number of instances between 1990 and 2013.

Officers say that Mr Santini has beforehand served time for raping a lady in Germany.
He has now been returned to Hillsborough County and was on account of make his first courtroom look on Thursday. He has been relocated to the Falkenburg Street Jail, the place he’ll await his trial.
