The Nationwide Hurricane Middle says that the watch is unprecedented for the area and Hilary is predicted to deliver heavy rain and the danger of flash flooding from the Baja California peninsula all the way in which north to Nevada.

As of Friday, the hurricane was positioned about 360 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with most sustained winds of 145 mph.
