Police tell public not to play with water guns as toys mistaken for ‘viable weapons’

Police have issued a warning over the usage of water pistols after toys have been mistaken for weapons.

Officers have discovered water guns being mistaken for “viable weapons” as they’re warning customers to “cool off and have enjoyable” responsibly.

Kent Police have seen a spike in water pistol-related incidents over the past month of heat climate, and are issuing a warning after anti-social behaviour with high-powered toys in Swale.

On Thursday June 22, a bunch of youngsters utilizing water guns disrupted commerce at a bakery in Sittingbourne Excessive Avenue.
