Richard Keys, 66, ‘marries daughter’s ex-best friend’, 35

Sports activities pundit Richard Keys, 66, has reportedly married his daughter’s former greatest buddy Lucie Rose after splitting from his spouse of 36 years in 2016.

The ceremony is alleged to have taken place in an outside civil ceremony in Kingswear close to Brixham, Devon, and was attended by a small social gathering of the couple’s closest family and friends.

The Daily Mail reviews that Keys’s daughter Jemma and son Joshua didn’t attend. Photos shared by the publication confirmed the couple standing in a backyard crammed with white roses and different flowers, with Lucie Rose sporting a white marriage ceremony gown with lace element and floral elaborations, and a full veil.

The Impartial has contacted Keys’s consultant for remark.

Julia Keys reportedly filed for divorce on grounds of adultery, alleging that her then-husband had an affair with Lucie Rose, then 28.

In 2019, Keys denied that he left his spouse, who was in remission for most cancers on the time, for Lucie Rose.

“I’ll point out the unmentionable for you,” he informed sports activities publication The Athletic. “Did I go away my spouse preventing most cancers? No. I don’t know what occurred.

“I don’t know why our marriage ended the best way it did, however my spouse was preventing most cancers for seven years earlier than I left her and he or she had been in remission for seven years.”

Writing in her self-help ebook The MANscript, Julia claimed that her husband’s alleged affair had “devastated” each her and their two kids.

“It’s only now, two years on, that he has admitted he did have an affair with Lucie, in addition to acknowledging his deceit and the injury it has brought on,” she wrote.

“However for a yr and a half, he was telling me it was all in my head, that I used to be imagining it, that I used to be going mad – traces that I now realise almost each man comes up with when having an affair.”

Former Hollyoaks actor Jemma, 33, was concerned in a public courtroom case and confronted a six-month jail sentence after sending a string of abusive textual content messages to Lucie Rose. The case was later dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service.

“It was 18 months down the road from discovering out in regards to the affair – which was essentially the most terrible betrayal – and I would hit the bottom, darkest level of my alcohol habit,” she informed the Mail on Sunday in 2018.

“I assumed Lucie was my buddy. I used to be devastated, distraught and indignant.

Keys resigned from his £500,000-a-year job steering Sky’s Premier League protection in 2011, whereas his colleague Andy Grey was sacked, after they made disparaging feedback about feminine referee Sian Massey Ellis. They later issued an apology.
